Fenestra solutions is execute interior furnishings which encompass window solutions, floor coverings, fabrics for drapery & upholstery and acoustic systems for residential projects, corporate offices, hotels & resorts and educational Institutes. The company’s management decided to launch an e-commerce platform to expand their customer reach and increase sales. The project aimed to create an intuitive and feature-rich online store that would provide customers with a seamless shopping experience.
Introduction
In this case study, we will explore the development and implementation of an e-commerce project for a interior furnishings company called “Fenestra solutions” The objective of the project was to establish an online presence for the company, enabling customers to browse and purchase interior furnishings products through a user-friendly and secure website.
Business Need
They wanted to showcase their products on ecommerce store. So that user can select the product and order it but they have some products which they was not selling piece to piece, the products like carpet,curtain track, roller blinds needs to take dimension from user and should calculate the area as per the measurement and also some products have brands so they need to take dimension as per the brands.
Product like fabric system has variation they need some document upload functionality so that user can upload pdf,doc etc for more details and enter the dimension after that user can ask for quote and quote request will send to the seller.
This client also need online booking system so that user can book appointment of service provider agent as they can come and take measurements
Key Project Goals

Challenges
Our challenge is that basic woocommerce provide simple product and variable product for piece to piece selling but for taking the dimension as per the product type and brand that was a challenge for us.We have made customization for that.
Also this client need local shipping provider rather than woocommerce provide. So we add local shipping provider in system and also customized the pdf invoice for that.
